Clara Feldman joined Fishman & Decea as a member of the Transactional Department. Ms. Feldman’s practice focuses on all aspects of commercial real estate, with a particular emphasis on office and retail leasing. She has represented owners, developers, and tenants (including Fortune 500 companies and high-end retailers rolling out multiple locations) in the negotiation and drafting of office, loft, store, triple net and ground leases and in the acquisition, financing, and sale of vacant land, office buildings, apartment buildings, shopping centers and commercial and residential properties.

 

Ms. Feldman also developed an expertise in various aspects of the hospitality industry including the negotiation and drafting of partnership, shareholder, joint venture, license, operating, management, promoter, musician, acquisition, sale, employment and lease agreements for bars, restaurants, nightclubs, hotels, casinos, and other food, beverage and entertainment facilities throughout the world.

 

Ms. Feldman earned her Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in 2004 where she was a senior staff member of the American Bankruptcy Law Review. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, Summa Cum Laude, from Pace University in 2001. She is admitted to the bar in the State of New York.

 

Prior to joining Fishman & Decea, she served as in-house counsel for the nation’s largest publicly traded shopping center REIT, Kimco Realty Corporation (KIM), an owner and operator of commercial properties and shopping centers worldwide.
